MILWAUKEE, WI (September 5, 2014) — The national law firm of Quarles & Brady LLP today announced thatKaren Perzan, a partner in the firm’s Milwaukee office, has joined the Wisconsin Commercial Real Estate Women board of directors and has been elected as the chapter’s delegate for the national Commercial Real Estate Women organization’s meetings.

Perzan will serve a two-year term as a director on the board and as the Wisconsin chapter’s delegate. She will attend national CREW meetings throughout the year and will act as the liaison between the national network and the Wisconsin chapter. In prior years, she has served on the CREW National Programs Playbook Task Force, CREW National Governance Committee and the CREW Network Membership Development Task Force, and she and was the WCREW Showcase Awards Chair.

A member of the Quarles & Brady Real Estate Practice Group, Perzan focuses on acquisitions and dispositions of real property, development and redevelopment of real property, tax-assisted real estate development, real estate finance, leasing and leveraged leasing arrangements and zoning and historic preservation matters.

Perzan received her law degree from Columbia Law School and her undergraduate degree, cum laude, from Yale University.
