ADDRESS COMMUNITY LEADERS AT ST. NORBERT COLLEGE ON FUTURE OF ATTRACTING AND RETAINING TALENT

DE PERE, WIS.: St. Norbert College will host futurist, economist and author Rebecca Ryan on Tuesday, Oct. 15, in the Abbot Pennings Hall of Fine Arts’ Walter Theatre on the St. Norbert campus. Ryan will address how to enhance the community’s ability to recruit and retain the next generation of talent to the Greater Green Bay area. Registration and networking will begin at 7:30 a.m., and the program will run from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m.

The morning will kick off with a celebration of the progress Greater Green Bay has made over the past ten years. St. Norbert College president Thomas Kunkel, Medical College of Wisconsin president John Raymond and other community leaders will welcome attendees and discuss St. Norbert College’s partnership with the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) to educate, train, and place physicians in the region.

Rebecca Ryan has helped cities and companies nationwide think about what’s next. As founder and co-owner of Next Generation Consulting in Madison, Wis., Ryan is widely recognized as an invaluable resource for leaders who want to attract and retain the next generation of creative workers. She is the Resident Futurist at Alliance for Innovation and a Senior Fellow at CEO’s for Cities, and also serves on the board of the World Academy for Entrepreneurship & Enterprise (WAE2).

After Ryan’s presentation, there will be a question-and-answer session as well as the official launch of her second book, “ReGENERATION: A Manifesto for America’s Future Leaders.”
