Reinhart Boerner Van Deuren s.c.: Ten new associates join Reinhart

MILWAUKEE – Jerome M. Janzer, CEO of Reinhart Boerner Van Deuren s.c. (Reinhart), announces the addition of ten new associates. Nine will be located in the firm’s Milwaukee office and one in the firm’s Madison office.

Wesley D. Anderson – Health Care
Wesley D. Anderson is an associate in Reinhart’s Health Care practice. Anderson’s experience includes internships with the Wisconsin Court of Appeals in Waukesha and a law firm in Chicago. He was also a 2011 Reinhart summer associate. Anderson earned his J.D., cum laude, from the University of Wisconsin Law School and his B.A. from the University of Illinois.

Leah R. Harrand – Real Estate
Leah R. Harrand is an associate in the firm’s Real Estate practice. Her experience includes working as a student attorney for the University of Wisconsin Law School’s Legal Assistance to Institutionalized Persons and an internship with the Wisconsin Supreme Court for Chief Justice Shirley Abrahamson. Additionally, Harrand was a 2011 Reinhart summer associate. She earned her J.D., summa cum laude, from the University of Wisconsin Law School and her B.S., summa cum laude, from Northern Michigan University.

Karla N. Hutton – Health Care (Madison office)
Karla N. Hutton is an associate in Reinhart’s Health Care practice. Her experience includes internships with the Office of the General Counsel – Department of Health and Human Services in Dallas and Washington, D.C., and Ascension Health in Washington, D.C. Hutton also worked as a paralegal with a law firm in Durham, North Carolina. She earned dual degrees in law and public health from Saint Louis University School of Law and School of Public Health, and her B.A., magna cum laude, from North Carolina State University.

Kate E. Maternowski – Litigation
Kate E. Maternowski is an associate in Reinhart’s Litigation practice. Maternowski was a 2011 Reinhart summer associate and previously interned at the Wisconsin Supreme Court for Justice N. Patrick Crooks. She also worked as a journalist for Inside Higher Ed in Washington, D.C. Maternowski earned her J.D., cum laude, from the University of Notre Dame Law School and her B.A. from the University of Wisconsin – Madison.

Allison A. Miller – Litigation
Allison A. Miller is an associate in the firm’s Litigation practice. Miller’s prior experience includes interning at the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Northern District of Illinois, and at the District Office of Congressman Tom Petri in Fond du Lac. She was a 2011 Reinhart summer associate. Miller earned her law degree from the University of Chicago Law School and her B.A., with honors, from Cornell.

Emily L. Mitchell – Banking and Finance
Emily L. Mitchell is an associate in the firm’s Banking and Finance practice. Before joining Reinhart, Mitchell was a legal intern at the Internal Revenue Service in Milwaukee. She also clerked at a law firm in Green Bay and for The Honorable Donald Zuidmulder, Brown County Circuit Court. For two years prior to attending law school, Mitchell worked as a project manager for a software corporation. Mitchell earned her law degree, cum laude, from Marquette University Law School and her B.A., with distinction, from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Nathan J. Neuberger – Business Law
Nathan J. Neuberger is an associate in Reinhart’s Business Law practice. Prior to joining Reinhart, Neuberger was an associate with a law firm in Chicago, where he advised on corporate and securities matters. He earned his J.D. from The University of Chicago Law School and his B.S. from the University of Wisconsin – Madison.

Steven B. Oyler – Employee Benefits
Steven B. Oyler is an associate in Reinhart’s Employee Benefits practice. Oyler’s experience includes working as a paralegal with a law firm in Logan, Utah, and as the assistant managing editor for Decimononica, a journal of nineteenth-century Hispanic cultural production, also located in Logan. He was also a 2011 Reinhart summer associate. Oyler earned his J.D., cum laude, from the University of Notre Dame Law School and his B.A. from Utah State University.

Amy Rogan-Mehta – Business Law
Amy Rogan-Mehta is an associate in Reinhart’s Business Law practice. Rogan-Mehta’s previous experience includes working as a judicial intern for the Honorable Diane S. Sykes, United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit. She also served as a research assistant to the Honorable Russell D. Feingold, Visiting Professor of Law at Marquette University Law School. Rogan-Mehta was a 2011 Reinhart summer associate. She earned her J.D., summa cum laude, from Marquette University Law School, her M.S. in Social Work from Columbia University and her B.S., cum laude, from Saint Catherine University.

Joshua D. Taggatz – Litigation
Joshua D. Taggatz is an associate in the firm’s Litigation practice. Prior to joining Reinhart, he was an associate with a law firm in central Wisconsin, where he represented a variety of clients, including business owners. Taggatz earned his J.D., magna cum laude, from the University of Minnesota Law School and his B.A. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
