Downtown Middleton's Business Association: Second annual Beach Party and Service Appreciation Day 5/30/2012 Contact: Marilyn Burke 608-836-5559 Downtown Middleton’s Beach Party: Middleton, WI, May 30, 2012---The Downtown Middleton Business Association, (DMBA) will host the Second Annual Beach Party on Saturday, June 16, 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM. There are many exciting activities scheduled that day, including a bigger than usual Art Fair and a music stage featuring OD TAPO IMI from 12:00 – 3:00 PM. There will also be fun children’s activities: a sand pile with hidden money, Walgreens will be doing free face painting from 10:00 – 1:00 PM, horse and wagon rides will run from 10:00 – 2:00 PM, and more! The event will also be a Service Appreciation Day to say a special “Thank You” to the Middleton Police, EMS and Fire Departments. A volleyball contest between these departments will be fun for all to watch from 12: 00 – 4:00 PM. The winner will play a final game against The Keva Sports Team! The downtown Middleton businesses will be having sidewalk sales and great specials! So experience the fun in downtown Middleton on Saturday, June 16th, 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM, rain or shine. Parts of Parmenter Street and Hubbard Avenue will be closed for the event.
