Prime Financial Credit Union: Names Christine Moczynski president and chief executive officer

Moczynski has served as institution’s interim CEO since August

CUDAHY, Wis. – Prime Financial Credit Union today announced that Christine Moczynski has been named president and chief executive officer of the institution. Moczynski had served as Prime Financial’s interim CEO since August.

“Chris has done an outstanding job leading Prime Financial, and we are delighted that she has accepted this permanent chief executive position,” said HB Staffileno, chairman of the Prime Financial Board of Directors. “All of us on the board look forward to working with Chris, the management team and staff to ensure the credit union’s continued success.”

Moczynski has been with Prime Financial since 1995. She served as chief financial officer before becoming interim CEO and has also served as the credit union’s controller.

“Thanks to the hard work and dedication of our independent board and talented staff, Prime Financial Credit Union has had the honor of serving our devoted members for over 87 years,” she said. “We look forward to continuing the credit union tradition of ‘people helping people’ in 2011 and beyond.”

Moczynski has a bachelor of business administration degree in finance from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. She is a resident of Muskego.

Prime Financial is a state-chartered, federally insured credit union chartered in 1923. It was the first credit union chartered in Wisconsin and today is a full-service, $137 million credit union with more than 28,000 members. All deposits are ensured to $250,000 by the NCUA, an agency of the federal government.
