Miron Construction: Employees to deliver 500 turkeys to needy families for the holidays

On Tuesday, December 21, from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Miron Construction employees will deliver 500 turkeys (totaling nearly 6,000 pounds) to Madison area community centers and hand them out to families who are in need this holiday season, along with hot chocolate and candy canes. Turkeys will be purchased from local Verona grocer, Miller’s Supermarket.

This is the second straight year that Miron Construction has donated turkeys to families in need. In 2009, Miron Construction asked employees for ideas on ways to give back to the community, and they saw a specific need to make sure that local families could enjoy a turkey dinner during the holiday season.
