SupraNet Communications, Inc.: Raises money for the Salvation Army

Madison, WI –– This holiday season, SupraNet Communications helped spread cheer by volunteering for the Salvation Army’s Adopt-A-Kettle Campaign. From 8:00am-8:00pm on Friday, December 3rd, SupraNet staff members took turns ringing bells at the Walgreen’s on Old Sauk Rd. The Salvation Army estimates that having staffed kettles can bring in over $45 an hour. In total, SupraNet helped raise $833 that day – or $69 per hour! SupraNet plans to match 50% of this, for a total of $1,249 raised.

Every year the Salvation Army relies on their Kettle Campaign to raise a substantial part of their annual operating budget. The donations go toward providing food and shelter for homeless families, helping individuals find permanent employment and housing, running a variety of after-school programs for children, and brightening the holidays for local families through programs like Adopt-A-Family and Christmas Food Boxes.
