Green Bay, Wisconsin — November 2, 2010 presents the voters of Wisconsin with an opportunity to elect pro-dairy candidates to the Wisconsin State Senate. These candidates have shown their support for Wisconsin’s agriculture industry, which is responsible for employing one out of ten Wisconsin citizens and creates over $59 billion in economic activity each year. “Our agriculture industry is the back bone to our economy,” said Laurie Fischer, DBA Executive Director. “Wisconsin is fortunate to have so many qualified candidates who understand the need to promote Wisconsin’s dairy industry while using science-based regulation to protect our environment.”
