September, 2010, Madison, WI: Energy Tech Solutions, LLC has received certification as a Women-Owned Business Enterprise (WBE) through the State of Wisconsin Department of Commerce. The designation is pursuant to the state administrative rule requirements of Comm 104 which provides validation that Energy Tech Solutions, LLC meets the requirements of being at least 51 percent woman-owned, controlled and managed. It qualifies Energy Tech Solutions, LLC to be considered for contracts with corporations and government entities that seek vendor relationships with businesses owned and operated by women.

“We are excited to receive this certification as it will allow us to be a part of some opportunities that we may not have been otherwise. There are not many women-owned businesses in this industry and this certification provides us with more opportunities in the State of Wisconsin and beyond. Also, this makes our company more attractive to work with in helping larger corporations and government entities meet their small business diversity goals,” states Cynthia Everhart, Owner of Energy Tech Solutions, LLC.

Based in Madison, Wisconsin, Energy Tech Solutions, LLC (ETS) was established in 2005 and offers a comprehensive suite of LED lighting products for sale with experience and technical knowledge to back them up. Focusing on LED products that are manufactured in North America or one of the NAFTA compliant countries, ETS hand-selects each product they represent after thorough research of the product, manufacturer, potential applications, independent lab test results and competition. This is what separates Energy Tech Solutions, LLC from other LED sources, in that they know their products very well in comparison to other products on the market, they have strong relationships with their manufacturers, and they can provide technical analysis including Payback and ROI, environmental impact, energy calculations, photometric design and LEED Consulting to support LED initiatives.

Their LED products include street lights, wall packs, light panels, PAR Lamps, can retrofits, MR16, Low Bay/High Bay fixtures, dock lights, light tubes and more with installations in 42 States and 5 countries. They work with clients such as NASA, Airforce, Navy, Coast Guard, the Orlando Convention Center, City of Madison, State of Utah DOT, HD Supply, Lockheed Martin, WESCO, Baxter Healthcare and General Mills.
