Building Excitement For 65 Years!

WAUKESHA, WI (August 17, 2010) – To commemorate the start of the 65th anniversary Metropolitan Builders Association (MBA) Parade of Homes and the opening of 22 must-see homes built by 18 of Southeastern Wisconsin’s most experienced home builders, the MBA announces grand opening ribbon cutting ceremonies for each of its three 2010 MBA Parade of Homes sites on Friday,

August 20th.

At 12:30 p.m. Friday, August 20th, at the Reflections Village subdivision in Richfield, special guests including Richfield Village Administrator Josh Schoemann, State Representative Dan Knodl and State Senator Alberta Darling will join MBA Executive Director Rick Hodges for the ceremonial cutting of that site’s ribbon.

At 2:00 p.m. Friday, August, 20th, at The Bluffs of Oak Creek subdivision in Oak Creek, special guests including City of Oak Creek Mayor Dick Bolender, City of Oak Creek Council President Tom Michalski, City of Oak Creek Director of Community Development Doug Seymour, State Representative Mark Honadel and State Senator Jeff Plale will join MBA Executive Director Rick Hodges for the ceremonial cutting of that site’s ribbon.

At 3:15 p.m. Friday, August 20th, at the Broken Hill subdivision in Pewaukee, special guests Waukesha County Executive Dan Vrakas and State Representative Rich Zipperer will join MBA Executive Director Rick Hodges for the ceremonial cutting of that site’s ribbon.

“The MBA is honored and privileged that a number of local dignitaries are paying tribute to the Parade of Homes which has helped build so many thriving communities over the past 65 years,” said Rick Hodges, MBA Executive Director. “Their participation is part of an ongoing and unwavering MBA tradition of turning home building dreams into home building realities.”

The Parade of Homes opens to the public on Saturday, August 21st and ends Sunday, September 12th. The purchase of one Parade ticket will allow entry into

all of the homes dispersed across the three convenient Southeastern Wisconsin sites.

Directions to the three sites are as follows:

To Reflections Village, Richfield

Hwy 41/45 N to Hwy 167 (Holy Hill Road), head west to Hwy 175, south on 175 to the Subdivision on the east side of the road (Reflections Drive).          

To The Bluffs of Oak Creek, Oak Creek

Ryan Rd East to Hwy 32 or Chicago Rd. South ¾ Mile to O’Brien Rd., which is the entrance to the subdivision.

To Broken Hill, Pewaukee

From I-94 – exit onto Hwy 164 North (exit #294, Pewaukee) and Go North approximately 2.5 miles (past Capitol Drive) to Swan Road take a right onto Swan Road; and entrance will be on your right.
