Trade Association Continues to Grow

(OLATHE, KS – July 21, 2010) The National Home Service Contract Association (NHSCA) recently announced the addition of a new member organization, Universal Home Protection of Madison, Wisconsin.

Headquartered in Olathe, Kans., the NHSCA works to promote education; foster the improvement of business conditions; provide clear statutory definition and standards: and encourage sound and ethical business practices, higher business standards and better business methods and cooperation within in the home service contract industry. Home service contracts provide service, repair or even replacement on a home’s major systems and appliances. At an average range of $350 – $500 for a 12-month period, these contracts typically cover items such as heating systems, interior plumbing, electrical systems, water heaters, dishwashers, and garbage disposals.

“We see the NHSCA as the leading voice and advocate on behalf of the home service contract industry and the consumers we serve,” said James Imhoff, Universal Home Protection. “We look forward to playing an active role within the association.”
