Wisconsin Innovation Network: Telecom innovation and economic growth is topic at Oct. 8 WIN-Milwaukee meeting

The top executive of AT&T in Wisconsin will talk about how innovation in the telecommunications industry can help spur economic growth in Wisconsin at the Oct. 8 meeting of the Wisconsin Innovation Network in Brookfield.

The meeting will be held at Brookfield Suites Hotel and Convention Center, 1200 S. Moorland Road, just off I-94 in Brookfield. Registration and networking begins at 11:30 a.m., lunch at noon and the presentation at 12:30 p.m. The cost is $10 for students, $25 for WIN members, $35 for non-members and included with WIN corporate memberships. Scott T. VanderSanden, president of AT&T in Wisconsin, will discuss the rapidly changing and competitive telecom landscape and developments in wireless, broadband and video. He’ll talk about how telecom investment can help spur economic activity and economic development and educational initiatives AT&T is a part of in Wisconsin.
