WAUNAKEE, WI – A groundbreaking ceremony for a new 121,500 square foot
warehouse, office, and production facility for Suttle-Straus and Roundhouse
Marketing and Promotion took place on Tuesday, May 18th at 1000 Uniek Drive.
This new East Building will double Suttle-Straus’ existing space. The
expansion of broader services, including Internet ordering, digital
printing, and product distribution have attributed to Suttle-Straus’ growth
during a time when other printers have not faired as well.
“We’re really moving away from just being a printer,” says Suttle-Straus
president John Berthelsen. “Our complementary services have rapidly expanded
over the past few years, and we simply need more capacity to handle the
volume that our clients are requiring.”
Roundhouse president Bill Towell agrees, “During the past 10 years, we’ve
experienced exciting growth within the promotional services area. With
access to nearly 80,000 square feet of warehouse plus increased space for
creative and office space, we’ll be able to service our clients even more
effectively.” Roundhouse builds national brands through promotional
campaigns, promotional advertising, strategy development, design & creative,
photography, printing, premiums and fulfillment for its clients. Towell
adds, “We’re thrilled to be teaming up with Suttle-Straus in this state of
the art facility. In addition to creating more jobs in Dane County, it will
help to propel our respective business models to the next level.”

The Renschler Company is providing design and construction services for the
new East Building. The warehouse will feature Varco Pruden TextureClad
panels on its exterior to help transition between the Village of Waunakee’s
existing industrial park and it’s new business park. Completion of the
project is scheduled for the end of 2004.
