MADISON, WI (August 4, 2009) — DeWitt Ross & Stevens is pleased to announce the addition of Ángel L. Casiano to the Intellectual Property group. Casiano joins the firm as an associate in our Madison, Wisconsin office.
Casiano focuses his practice on the areas of patent drafting and prosecution, covering a wide range of technologies in the electrical and mechanical arts.
Prior to joining DeWitt Ross & Stevens, Casiano was with a large law firm in the Madison area. He was also a law clerk at two intellectual property firms in the Washington, D.C. area, where he focused on patent prosecution. As a former Patent Examiner, he also has extensive experience regarding USPTO rules and regulations.
Casiano received his J.D. from The Catholic University of America (magna cum laude, 2008) and his undergraduate degree in electrical engineering from the University of Puerto Rico (magna cum laude, 2002).
