New President Has Managed Award-Winning Creative Campaigns for Top Global Agencies

MADISON – Discover Mediaworks, an industry leader in integrated communications and strategic media services, is pleased to announce that Irving Chung, a leading-edge marketing expert who has managed award-winning campaigns for some of the world’s best known brands, has joined Discover Mediaworks as president.

Chung brings a comprehensive communications background to his new position and has extensive experience in traditional and new media, strategic brand management, interactive marketing and e-commerce. He will direct Discover Mediaworks’ growth into new media properties, integrated communications, interactive marketing, and high-definition video products and services for a wide variety of local, statewide and national clients.

Chung is a graduate of Colgate University and comes to Discover Mediaworks with more than 20 years of experience working with renowned advertising and marketing agencies from large Madison Avenue firms, including Saatchi & Saatchi, Young & Rubicam and Foote Cone & Belding, to the most creative San Francisco boutique agencies, such as Goodby Silverstein & Partners. He has managed multi-million-dollar accounts and award-winning campaigns for Procter & Gamble, Diet Coke and other internationally known products. Most notably, the original “Got Milk?” campaign is among the many highly successful brand campaigns Chung has helped develop.

At Discover Mediaworks, Chung will guide the company’s broadcast expansion of new television and online properties such as Family Inc. and Trail Nation, and will lead development of new media and technology solutions such as high-definition video clip players, versatile mobile applications, and more.
