NEW NORTH, April 23, 2009 – Four companies headquartered in the New North were recently named to the Fortune 1000 list of America’s largest corporations – Oshkosh Corp., Manitowoc Company, and Neenah-based Bemis Company and Plexus Corp.

Compiled annually by Fortune Magazine, the Fortune 1000 list ranked the largest and most successful companies in America based on annual revenue.

Each of the New North companies on the list improved on their rankings from last year. Oshkosh moved up from 383 to 349, Manitowoc moved from 551 to 480, Bemis moved from 586 to 575, and Plexus joined the list at number 950.
