MILWAUKEE – Tuesday, March 17th, 2009 3 p.m.
The “Shortest and Smallest St. Patricks Day Parade” will kick off in about one and a half hours in Milwaukee’s Historic Third Ward at The Irish Pub (124 N. Water St., corner of N. Water & E. Erie streets) where you will receive a free beer if you bring in a musical instrument.
The parade kicks off at 4:45 and heads north on Water Street to the Milwaukee Public Market. Outside the Market, a Leprechaun will hand all parade participants a coupon for a free Buffalo Water Bison Blonde beer to be redeemed upstairs in the second floor Palm Garden.
The lead vehicle will be the Buffalo Water truck, with musicians Sarah Kozar and Mike Chaltry of the Squeezettes performing.
It also promises to be the only St. Patrick’s Day event without Trinity dancers!
