MADISON – “Office Hours,” a half-hour talk show produced by University Communications at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, will make its national network debut on the Big Ten Network at 4 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 19.
The program, hosted by Ken Goldstein, UW-Madison professor of political science, is a conversation with some of the best and brightest minds at UW-Madison and will cover a diverse range of topics, such as the economy, stem cell research and research into the criminal mind. The viewer will hear down-to-earth conversations among interesting colleagues whose work and research takes them all over the globe.
Feb. 19’s topic is the nation’s current economic state, with guests Mike Knetter and Morris Davis. Knetter is dean of the Wisconsin School of Business and was a senior staff economist to George H.W. Bush and Bill Clinton. Davis is a professor in the UW-Madison Department of Real Estate and Urban Land Economics and was on the senior staff of the Federal Reserve Board from 2002-06.
The Big Ten Network is carried on Dish Network channel 439 and Direct TV channel 610, Charter cable on channel 73, along with multiple other cable companies in the state of Wisconsin.
