RedPrairie Corp.: RedPrairie percentage revenue growth named highest among top 10 vendors by leading independent advisory firm

“Supply Chain Management Market Sizing Report, 2007-2012” finds economic challenges offer greater opportunity for supply chain technology adoption

MILWAUKEE, Wis. – Today, AMR Research announced that with 24 percent revenue growth, RedPrairie Corporation, a leading consumer-driven optimization company, helped by the previous year’s acquisitions and international expansion, had the highest percentage of revenue growth among the top ten supply chain vendors in AMR Research’s “Supply Chain Management Market Sizing Report, 2007-2012 – November 19, 2008.”

In the report, AMR Research forecasts steady growth for the next five years, bringing the supply chain management applications market close to $9.2B in 2012.

“The supply chain, and the technologies that support it, will play an important role over the next five years in helping companies deal and thrive in an economy that is going to be quite unlike anything we’ve seen in the post-war era,” says AMR Research’s Marianne D’Aquila, a contributor to the report, “This explains why AMR Research is relatively bullish on the growth of the SCM market.”

RedPrairie will showcase its host of supply chain and store operations solutions at the upcoming National Retail Federation (NRF) and ProMat shows in New York City and Chicago, respectively, from January 11-14. The company’s booth – number 2502 at NRF, and 3943 at ProMat – will host demonstrations for a variety of applications, including Workforce Management, Warehouse Management, and Transportation Management, among others.

“We recognize the important role of supply chain management technology in helping companies create greater efficiencies,” says RedPrairie CEO Mike Mayoras, “Our focus lies on continued support of businesses so they emerge stronger from this challenging economic environment.”

In the production cycle, it means suppliers and manufacturers time and synchronize shipments and production based on demand signals from the retailer.
