MILWAUKEE, WI (November 10, 2008) — The law firm of Quarles & Brady today announced that Kevin M. Long has been named the National Chair of the Commercial Litigation practice. Long, a partner with the Firm, will oversee Quarles & Brady’s 100+ commercial litigation attorneys across six offices.

“Kevin has been an outstanding member of our legal team since 1998, and in this new role he will be able to share his expertise and utilize his leadership skills to benefit our growing commercial litigation team,” said John W. Long earned a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, and a master’s degree in business administration from Marquette University. He also earned his law degree from Marquette University Law School in 1992 .

Long’s practice involves construction and real estate litigation. He is a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin; American Bar Association, Construction Litigation Committee; the Bar of the U.S. Court of Federal Claims; the Seventh Circuit Bar Association, Eastern District of Wisconsin Bar Association; and Milwaukee Bar Association.

Long lives in Fox Point , Wis. with his wife and three daughters.
