MADISON, Wis. – The latest trend in online auctions has hit Madison and now, no matter how tech-savvy you are – or aren’t – you can take advantage of all the benefits of online market makers, like eBay. eXsellera, an e-consignment company, will open its doors this month providing individuals and businesses trouble-free access to eBay and a stress-free way to reduce the clutter in their homes or the over-stocked merchandise in their warehouses.
You drop off the merchandise at eXsellera’s convenient drop-off center at 6113 Odana Road and eXsellera takes care of the rest – developing appropriate selling strategies, photographing and posting items on eBay or other markets, handling the transaction with the buyer, packaging and shipping. All you do is collect a check once the item is sold. The online auction experts at eXsellera will even do on-site consultations with you and pick up merchandise at your office or home.
E-consignment operations first gained notoriety in California late last year and the concept has since taken off. “Selling on eBay is an involved process and many people don’t have the expertise or willingness to undertake the task,” says Jim Rice, president and CEO of eXsellera. “We can deal with all of the ins and outs of the transaction, and in doing so, open up a vast market of 38 million potential online buyers for your item.”
While there will be other e-consignment operations in Madison soon, Rice says it is the added value that the eXsellera team brings to the table which sets them apart. “We are committed to making the process as seamless and easy as possible for the consigner and getting them top dollar quickly. Consign for a Cause
In addition to their business commitment, eXsellera is also committed to the local community. To show their support, they will donate unsold items to local charities and contribute 5% of their store profits to local community organizations selected by their employees.
In May eXsellera will be hosting a charity event where consigners can drop off merchandise to be sold on eBay with the consigner’s proceeds and eXsellera’s profit going to a designated charity. Details on the charity event will be forthcoming.
