New North Companies Rated Among Best Places to Work

ACUITY, Badger Mining, 4imprint among best small and medium-sized companies in America

NEW NORTH, June 24, 2008 – Three New North companies were named this week among the Best Small and Medium Companies to Work for in America by the Great Place to Work Institute (GPWI).

Sheboygan-based ACUITY was named the second best medium-sized company to work for in America, Badger Mining Corporation, headquartered in Berlin, was named the second best small-sized company, and Oshkosh-based 4imprint, Inc. was named the seventh best medium-sized company. Small companies are defined as having between 50-250 employees, and medium-sized companies have between 251-999 employees.

Another Wisconsin company – Milwaukee-based Kahler Slater, an architectural and interior design firm with offices in Green Bay – was ranked as the seventh best small company for which to work.

The Best Small & Medium Companies to Work For list identifies those companies with the highest levels of trust between employees and management, where upwards of 90% of the employees say “Taking everything into account, I’d say this is a great place to work.”
