Commercial Air, Inc. has operated as an HVAC refrigeration service provider in Wisconsin since 1981. The Waldinger Corporation – headquartered in Des Moines, Iowa and founded in 1906 – is a full-service mechanical and electrical contractor with multiple locations known for mission critical and other high-profile projects. Waldinger is the largest round-the-clock, truck-based service provider delivering maintenance and repair services to customers throughout the Midwest.

Both companies install, repair and maintain heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems in commercial, institutional and industrial facilities. Combined, the two companies have 700 construction professionals and tradespeople, including over 100 service technicians. Both have a strong presence in small, service-related, technically-demanding project arenas.

Leaders from each company cite shared values, expanded services to customers and increased opportunity for employees as key to the acquisition decision. Tom Duffy will now serve as Waldinger’s Regional Service Manager in Wisconsin. Dale Carmichael will now serve as the Regional Operations Manager in Wisconsin. All employees and facilities will remain active and part of the expanding operations of The Waldinger Corporation.
