Hoffman Planning, Design & Construction, Inc.: Helps Wisconsin senior care providers expand

(Appleton, WI) – Four senior care organizations across Wisconsin have partnered with Hoffman Planning, Design & Construction, Inc. to expand their presence and offering in the state’s senior living market. These providers include the Christian Home & Rehabilitation Center, Inc., Skaalen Retirement Services, Golden Years, and Primrose Retirement Communities.

Primrose Retirement Community: Appleton, Wisconsin. Hoffman is providing construction management services for the development of Primrose’s new senior living campus in Appleton. The campus will feature a two-story, 76-unit independent living/assisted living facility. The 102,600-square foot building will include 36 independent living and 40 assisted living units. Five independent living villas and a 23,300 square foot, 24-unit memory care facility complete the Primrose campus. Construction began in May 2017 and is expected to be finished by the summer of 2018.

The Christian Home & Rehabilitation Center: Waupun, Wisconsin. Hoffman is providing architectural design services for the replacement of their existing campus. The new campus will include a 50-unit skilled care / rehabilitation facility and a 30-unit Residential Care Apartment Complex (RCAC) assisted living facility. Construction of the 87,000 square foot facility is expected to begin in fall of 2017.

Skaalen Retirement Services: Stoughton, Wisconsin. Hoffman has been working with Skaalen since the fall of 2013 on a master planning effort. Completed earlier this year was the renovation of an 18-unit Community-Based Residential Facility. Currently, construction is underway for a 33-unit Residential Care Apartment Complex. The 41,000 square foot facility includes common first-floor spaces for dining, living, and multi-purpose, and a bathing spa and sitting areas on upper floors. The first floor also includes a full prep kitchen, administrative offices, and a drive-under canopy located off of the lobby.

Golden Years: Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. Hoffman is providing architectural services for a 30-bed skilled nursing facility, which is the first phase of Golden Year’s campus master plan. Total square footage of the facility is 31,500 and construction is expected to be complete in early 2018.
