WISCONSIN – Schenck is offering LEAD (Learn, Engage And Develop) HR Councils for professionals at all levels to get more strategic about human resources.

Each LEAD HR Council consists of a group of business professionals who come together for nine 3-hour sessions between September and May. Participants will learn from and engage with one another in a non-competitive, confidential setting to develop their skills on human resources issues. Each session is facilitated by a member of Schenck’s Human Resources Consulting team. Councils are forming now in Wausau, Green Bay, the Fox Cities, Milwaukee and the Lakeshore area, and sessions start in September.

Two levels of sessions are available: experienced level and foundational level.

The experienced level is designed for human resources and other business professionals with a basic understanding of HR compliance seeking a peer group that thinks strategically about how to lead within a business. The topics will focus on strategic HR issues that have wide business impact. Members will walk away able to develop an action plan for their business. Members will receive perspective, direction, tools and support from Schenck as well as other group members.

The foundational level is designed for those who would benefit from a peer group focused on understanding and applying human resources fundamentals within their organization. The topics will focus on tactical HR and compliance issues. Members will gain practical advice geared toward understanding the relevance and impact on the business. Sessions will leverage a combination of presented materials and the shared experience and perspectives of participants.

The annual fee is $1,250.
