Menomonee Falls, WI – Fairchild Equipment raised 3,476 lbs. of donated items in a recent campaign to collect clothing and household goods for Goodwill Industries of Southeastern Wisconsin. 20 bins were placed at designated businesses across Southeast Wisconsin from April 17, 2017 to April 28, 2017 and the business’s employees were able to take advantage of the convenient access to drop off donations for Goodwill.

The Spring 2017 Donation Drive was the largest held charitable campaign in the company history of Fairchild Equipment. With the success of the initial campaign, the project will become a regular bi-yearly campaign. The success of the campaign can be contributed to the many supporting local businesses who participated by setting up bins for their employees to drop off donations in. Southeast Wisconsin based companies who partnered with Fairchild Equipment and participated include: Ace Worldwide (three locations), Husco International, Inc., IEWC, JM Brennan, Rexnord (seven locations), and We Energies (three locations).

“This is a really great opportunity for Fairchild to be active in the community and support Goodwill, an organization everyone can be proud of for their work in providing training and employment for job seekers and connecting individuals looking for work to area employers,” said Ryan Ratzlaff, sales manager Fairchild Equipment and Waukesha County Business Alliance Leadership Program Participant. Our hope is that by holding a donation drive in support of Goodwill’s mission, we will bring added awareness to the variety of programs, services and social enterprises Goodwill has to offer in our communities.”

This is the first time Fairchild Equipment has hosted a donation drive of this magnitude. “It truly is an honor to be a part of an event that impacts the larger community and Fairchild looks forward to continue this tradition in the future,” said Andrea Jorgensen, marketing coordinator for Fairchild Equipment. “We see the community connections that result and I truly believe that
this program has been a benefit to Goodwill, participating community businesses and Fairchild.”
