MILWAUKEE – The Greater Milwaukee Committee will provide an update at its April member meeting on one of its initiatives – Scale Up Milwaukee – which recently announced the region has seen 482 new jobs created by companies completing its Scalerator program since 2013.

The Scalerator program just graduated its most recent cohort of businesses completing a six-month program that provides actionable strategies for high-growth, high-impact entrepreneurial activity in the region. The program demonstrates that when nurtured, regional assets can be galvanized to recapture the region’s economic vigor and realize the growth potential of the area’s entrepreneurial companies, positively impacting job growth, the tax base, personal wealth and quality of life.

Several of the 12 recent Scalerator “graduates” will be showcasing their businesses at a “Scalerator Village” from 11:30 a.m. to noon, prior to the GMC Member Meeting. Additionally, Scalerator grads from previous cohorts will be in attendance, showcasing growth they’ve experienced since completing the program.
