Security Health Plan of Wisconsin: Names Foemmel director of operations

Marshfield – Sara Foemmel of Marshfield has been named director of operations for Security Health Plan, tasked with overseeing non-medical operations of the Marshfield-based insurance company.

Foemmel will work closely with the leadership of the Security Health Plan’s business configuration, claims, customer service, enrollment services, mail center, and training departments.

“Sara’s broad experience and understanding of our business processes, along with her dedication to ensuring members receive excellent service will strengthen Security Health Plan,” said Julie Brussow, CEO. “I look forward to Sara’s continued positive contributions to advancing the strategic direction of Security Health Plan.”

Foemmel has been with Security Health Plan for 13 years; starting in the claims department, with later promotions to assistant director of government programs and director of claims operations.

We are committed to providing accurate and timely information to ensure the highest member satisfaction possible.”

A Marshfield native, Foemmel holds a bachelor’s degree in health care administration from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.
