Bechler Elected to Fellows of the American Bar Foundation
Madison, WI – Murphy Desmond attorney Lawrence Bechler has been elected as a member of the Fellows of the American Bar Foundation.
Only 1% of lawyers in each jurisdiction are eligible to become Fellows, which, according to its website, “…is an honorary organization of attorneys, judges, law faculty and legal scholars whose public and private careers have demonstrated outstanding dedication to the welfare of their communities and to the highest principles of the legal profession.” Fellows are nominated by peers and elected by the Board of the American Bar Foundation.
Bechler’s legal practice emphasizes municipal law, probate, estate planning, property tax law and litigation. He has received numerous attorney accolades, including, most recently, “2016 Litigation-Municipal Lawyer of the Year-Madison” by Best Lawyers in America®.
