Deal enhances service for Stamford-area contractors
BELOIT, Wis.–June 7, 2016–Building products distributor ABC Supply Co. Inc. has acquired the assets of GK Building Supply Corp., a distributor of roofing, gutter and siding products. The business and many of its associates will move from Port Chester, New York, to ABC Supply’s new Stamford, Connecticut, location at 37 Brown House Road.
Founded in 1993, GK Building Supply Corp. operated one location at 115 Oak Street in Port Chester. The company’s former owners, Ben Freda and Richard Pantano, along with many of its associates, will take on new roles at ABC Supply’s Stamford location, ensuring area contractors receive seamless access to the products and services they need to run and grow their businesses. Freda will oversee all operations as branch manager and Pantano will manage purchasing.
