Baylake Bank Sister Bay gets new building and name Hoffman helps Baylake Bank Sister Bay transition to Nicolet National Bank

(Appleton, WI) – The Baylake Bank Sister Bay Financial Center is preparing to move to a new location at 2477 S. Bay Shore Drive and reopen as Nicolet National Bank on May 2. Hoffman Planning, Design & Construction, Inc. is completing a full interior renovation of an existing facility at the new location.

The merger of Baylake Bank and Nicolet National Bank will be final on April 29, 2016. “The timing was perfect to move, install new systems and reopen as Nicolet,” said Larry Gajda, Baylake Bank Sister Bay Financial Center manager. “The plan came together seamlessly.”

Hoffman is remodeling the 9,695-square-foot facility to include new offices, gathering spaces, conference rooms, and five teller stations, as well as adding an easy-to-access drive thru ATM. Annika Schuller-Rash, Hoffman project manager, says the project provided some unique architectural challenges. “Despite the modern updates, it was important to Baylake Bank that the design preserved the stonework fireplace and the rest of the Door County charm and character of this wonderful building,” Schuller-Rash said. “We are proud to have assisted Baylake Bank as they prepared for this important corporate transition.”

Baylake Bank purchased its new facility from Sister Bay Trading Company, which will continue to share space in the building. “We are thrilled to be able to partner with Baylake Bank in sharing this building and growing our businesses in northern Door County,” said Marilyn Jensen, owner and interior designer of the premier furniture and design studio in Door County. “With our new showroom opening by mid-May, we look forward to continue serving our clients and the community as we have for the past 30 years.”

And while many changes are taking place, bank customers will continue to receive the same great service from the same staff. “Although our signs are changing to Nicolet National Bank, our loyal customers can continue to look forward to working with our experienced and talented banking team in Sister Bay,” said Baylake Bank CEO Rob Cera.

The Sister Bay office will be closed April 29-30, to complete the move, and will reopen on May 2, as Nicolet National Bank.
