Sales and activities to take place in-store April 14 to 24
Prairie du Chien, WI (April 12, 2016) – Cabela’s Incorporated, the World’s Foremost Outfitter® of hunting, fishing and outdoor gear, today announced plans to celebrate Cabela’s Fishing Classic with sales, seminars, product demonstrations and more at its Prairie du Chien, WI location, April 14-24.
Cabela’s Fishing Classic event will offer customers special deals on fishing gear, as well as educational seminars and exhibits from Cabela’s staff.
Free fishing seminars will be presented on Saturday, April 16, and Sunday, April 17.
At noon on both days, a seminar titled “Home-Water Opportunities” will give customers the chance to learn from local angling experts who will talk about the best fishing spots in the area. They’ll discuss a variety of local fishing resources, and what each has to offer anglers.
At 2 p.m. on both days, experienced local anglers will cover the latest gear and techniques in a seminar titled “Fishing Tips & Tactics.”
Cabela’s Fishing Classic also will feature a reel trade-in program, April 14-17. During that time, customers may trade in lightly used reels in working condition and receive a 20-percent discount on the purchase of a new reel. All traded in reels will be donated to a local youth-fishing charity.

During the entire event, all customers will receive free shipping on rods and reels purchased online at www.cabelas.com.
