GHC-SCW Announces Leadership Changes

Madison, WI – Group Health Cooperative of South Central Wisconsin (GHC-SCW) is pleased to announce a few key changes in Medical Leadership roles and responsibilities.

Roger Sneath has accepted the role of permanent Chief Financial Officer, having served as Interim since last summer. Sneath has a rich history serving as a Finance Executive in the healthcare industry. Prior to working for GHC-SCW, Sneath ran a successful consulting firm. He also has experience serving as Chief Financial Officer at Columbus Community Hospital and at various other healthcare organizations in Louisiana.

“Sneath has been a big part of GHC-SCW’s improvement and brings a great deal of experience, passion and collaborative spirit to this role,” said Dr. Mark Huth, GHC-SCW Chief Executive Officer. “We are thrilled to have him as a permanent member of our family.”

Dr. Robert Matthew is now the Medical Director for Care Delivery, where he will oversee clinical operations within our staff model clinics, including both primary care and in-house specialties. Matthew has been serving as the Interim Chief Medical Officer since summer of 2015.

“Matthew has already established himself as a trusted and talented leader in this regard, and he will be working closely with others to optimize GHC-SCW’s performance in both clinical quality and patient experience,” said Dr. Huth.

Dr. Chris Kastman has accepted the role of Medical Director for Population Health, where he will continue his work with Quality and Informatics, but will also lead Care Management and Case Management departments, as well as the ever-evolving population health efforts.

“Population health continues to be a major focus for GHC-SCW,” said Dr. Huth. “Kastman’s commitment to data-driven decision making and quality outcomes makes him the perfect fit for this position.”
