Edina, Minnesota (March 01, 2016) – An ever-growing juggernaut in the mortgage industry announced today the opening of an office in Madison, Wisc.
Marketplace Home Mortgage (MHM) is excited to continue its trend of expansion with the opening of its third office in the state of Wisconsin in only 18 months. Company leaders say timing could not be better for a new office to serve the state’s capitol.
MHM made a name for itself with customer-focused service and an unprecedented ability to take the risky and sometimes complex business of mortgaging out of the hands of small community banks and credit unions.
“Right now Wisconsin is just ripe with these smaller banks,” said Midwest Regional Vice President Kent H. Olson. “We’ve seen that they’re open to the risk-eliminating services that we provide in our other locations and we’re seeing a similar reaction from those in Madison.”

The Twin Cities-based company has also recently opened offices in South Dakota and Colorado, but company leaders say they see no signs of slowing down.
“This is certainly the time to add new offices because once business kicks up in the springtime, we’ll have those in-roads and relationships that will give us a competitive edge,” Olson said.
The new office, located at 2924 Marketplace Drive, is MHM’s latest in what Olson says will be a series of openings in the Wisconsin market. The company already has staff in Appleton and expects a physical location to follow soon.
