MICHAEL BEST STRATEGIES WELCOMES ALEXANDRA K. SUPRISE
Madison, WI (February 22, 2016) – Michael Best Strategies LLC (Strategies) is pleased to announce Alexandra K. Suprise has joined the organization’s Madison office as an associate. Suprise assists clients in identifying strategic opportunities to grow their business. Her work involves a full range of services related to government relations, lobbying, strategic planning and public relations. Working in concert with her colleagues in Madison and Strategies’ offices around the country, Suprise develops and implements state legislative and regulatory strategies, helping clients identify opportunities to engage with their government in order to achieve their business objectives.
Prior to joining Strategies, Suprise served as a campaign finance attorney for a political consulting firm. There, she managed the legal compliance for several campaigns and PACs, which involved communicating with donors and drafting quarterly reports to the FEC and GAB.
Suprise held legal internships with the U.S. Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs – Subcommittee on Financial and Contracting Oversight, the Honorable Patricia Gorence of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Wisconsin, and the Wisconsin Institute for Law and Liberty. Before law school, she worked in the Office of Governor Scott Walker and interned in the Office of Wisconsin Assembly Speaker Jeff Fitzgerald.
Suprise received her B.A. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and her J.D. from Marquette University Law School.
