MILWAUKEE (December 29, 2015) – Zizzo Group (ZG) –the region’s most fearless, results-driven, integrated marketing firm – is pleased to announce it has welcomed Aimee Dierbeck as senior copywriter and content strategist and Kate Erickson as art director to its creative department. ZG was recently recognized as one of Milwaukee’s “Best Places to Work.”
With the recent and continuing expansion of the ZG creative department, Aimee Dierbeck has joined ZG to help lead creative copywriting. She will be managing copywriting for print advertising, digital communications, including websites and social media messaging; as well as external marketing communication materials. In addition to her copywriting work, Dierbeck will play a role in helping develop creative strategies and ideation for ZG’s clients. Dierbeck has nearly six years of marketing, creative and writing experience and has served as a lead on rebranding projects.
Dierbeck graduated from Wichita State University and received a bachelor’s degree in integrated marketing communication. Prior to joining ZG, Dierbeck earned several awards for her work with a Wichita-based agency on the Kansas State Fair, including; “Best Radio Spot”, “Best Marketing Campaign” and a Bronze Telly. In 2011 Dierbeck was featured in a Huffington Post article, “18 Funny Women to Follow on Twitter.”
As an art director, Kate Erickson will be working collaboratively with the creative and integrated marketing teams to create thoughtful, on-target solutions for a wide range of clients. In addition, her strong conceptual skills will be tested for strategic and ideation initiatives both internally and externally at ZG. Erickson has experience designing in agency settings as well as creating illustration work as a freelancer. She received a bachelor’s degree in graphic design from UW-Whitewater.
For Erickson, art and design are two prominent components in her life. Her enthusiasm for both illustration and graphic design has given her the ability to tackle any art direction challenge. When she isn’t hard at work, she enjoys playing video games, longboarding and spending time with her husband and their two cats.
