New partner in Madison-based tech startup GigBlender brings expertise in
communication, socio-psychology and cognitive neuroscience.

MADISON, WISCONSIN – Mark Richardson, CEO of GigBlender has announced that author and change-agent Steve L. Robbins, Ph.D has joined the Madison-based tech startup. Drawing on his international reputation as a Diversity and Inclusion thought leader with a unique approach, Robbins helps organizations including Boeing, Cleveland Cavaliers, Department of the Treasury, HSBC Bank, Microsoft, NASA, Northrop Grumman, T. Rowe Price, Walt Disney and dozens of other Fortune 500 companies prepare their people for the challenges of a 21st century world.

With a Ph.D. in Communication Science from Michigan State University, Robbins’ background in communication, socio-psychology and cognitive neuroscience drives his work with individuals and organizations. His expertise will further strengthen the early stage company’s commitment to develop “Technology Designed With Intent.”

Robbins joins GigBlender’s five founding members. They are small group of passionate men and women ranging in age from 24 to 70 who over the past year have laid the company’s foundation and strategy – and created the GigBlender career-matchmaking app. The fledgling company was recently chosen by Madison Magazine as one of 35 local innovations creating social change that appears on its M List for 2015.

With Robbins now onboard, GigBlender will push forward in further developing a unique, feature-rich, application designed to help Talent find Opportunity and Opportunity find Talent.
