APPLETON, WI (Oct. 8, 2015) – The Appleton Housing Authority (AHA) has hired Tammy Boone as its new Executive Coordinator.
In her new role, Boone will be responsible for AHA human resource matters, accounts payable and payroll duties, as well as all administrative needs for the AHA’s Executive Director and Director of Finance.
A well-rounded administrative professional, Boone brings more than nine years of accounting and human resources expertise to the position.
The AHA is the largest provider of affordable housing options in the Appleton area, serving over 900 families per month. The agency has operated rental housing, homeownership and family self-sufficiency programs along with other key housing-related programs in the Appleton community for over 48 years.
The AHA’s non-profit NHI organization is committed to affordable housing in the Fox Cities, as well as its successful partnership with the Appleton Area School District (AASD), which annually brings students from Appleton East, North and West High Schools together to build a new, affordable home or duplex for area families in need of an affordable residence.
