Eagle, WI. – Halloween Legends and Lore will once again take over Old World Wisconsin Saturday evenings on October 17, 24 and 31st. Guests will discover folk and fairy tales of the old world, see them come to life and hear Wisconsin ghost stories from the 19th and early 20th centuries.

“Halloween Legends and Lore lets our guests explore a different side of Old World Wisconsin,” said Dan Freas, director of Old World Wisconsin. “There will be opportunities for our guests to explore creepy mazes and a spooky trail, burn off energy while fleeing ghosts, listen to live Halloween inspired music and spooky stories, play games and create traditional Halloween decorations.”

During Legends and Lore, guests will have a chance to solve strange riddles, hear the wail of the Banshee, inspect the contents of the Tent of Curiosities, encounter cackling witches, strange beasts, freaky fortune tellers and other bizarre entities.

Learn the terrifying origins of the Ridgeway Ghost, and witness ghostly tales vividly performed outdoors in the unique grounds of Old World Wisconsin’s crossroads village. Tasty and disturbing treats will be available for purchase. The evening culminates with a wild bonfire finale.

This event is presented in partnership with Quasimondo Milwaukee Physical Theater and sponsored by WaterStone Bank. Discounted admission coupons are available at any one of WaterStone Banks 12 branches throughout southeastern Wisconsin.
