First Bank Financial Centre Helps Raise Money During National Childhood Cancer Awareness Month

Oconomowoc, Wis. – During the month of September, National Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, First Bank Financial Centre (FBFC) partnered with the Grafton School District to raise $5,230 for the MACC Fund and Gold in September.

Monies raised for Gold in September were in honor of Olivia Stern, a kindhearted 14 year old cancer warrior, currently living with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. Fundraising activities included selling
t-shirts, gold rubber wristbands and coordinating a bank sponsored bake sale. “I am amazed and overjoyed by the Grafton School District and Grafton Community. Olivia wanted to raise awareness of the color gold representing Childhood Cancer and a community stepped up to make that happen. I’m so proud to work at FBFC. We are making a difference”, said Kris Barger, Branch Manager of FBFC.

On September 28th, 2015 employees from the FBFC Grafton branch, the Grafton School District and the Grafton community came together to present a check in the amount of $5,230.00 to Olivia Stern, the MACC Fund and Gold in September.
