Live events at Walmart Stores Award A Few Lucky Shoppers With Up To $5000 Toward College Tuition

MADISON — Dr Pepper is teaming up with Walmart to help Madison-area students defray the cost of a college education in the 2015 Dr Pepper Tuition Giveaway. With the 2015 Dr Pepper Tuition Giveaway, Dr Pepper will be hosting live events at Walmart stores in Madison, Monona, Sun Prairie, and Stoughton on October 2-4 where retail tailgates will enable students to play football-related games and win money toward tuition. With student debt at an all-time high, the campaign speaks to the heart of what matters most to students — while the event-driven effort shares in the excitement and celebration of a new season of college football.

Contestants have the opportunity to play a digital football game and a winner for each event is chosen to compete in the finals at the Walmart store on Sunday, where they challenge one another in a football toss contest. The winner earns $5,000 toward tuition and all others win $2,000. Branded merchandise will also be distributed.

The contest is open to consumers 18 and older. Additional rules and eligibility are available at event venues.

The Tuition Giveaway promotion is also the start of Dr Pepper’s engagement with college football.
