School Supply Drive – Waukesha County

Oconomowoc, Wis. – During the months of July and August, First Bank Financial Centre embarked on its annual School Supply Drive. With the help of FBFC employees, customers, and community members, they donated thousands of items including notebooks, binders, folders, glue, rulers, scissors, brand new back packs, and much more.

First Bank Financial Centre’s Brookfield branches donated their collected supplies to Wilson Elementary in Wauwatosa and to Fox River Congregational Church in Brookfield. Father Ronnie Richardson of Fox River is going to combine the items with their school supplies and give them to Hebron House in Waukesha. The Hebron House has been the largest nonprofit provider of services to the homeless men, women and children of Waukesha County for thirty years.

The Hartland branch collected and donated hundreds of school supplies to Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church and School for their school program. They were very thankful we donated supplies to their programs at the Church.

The FBFC’s Oconomowoc branches decided to combine efforts and support Summit Elementary School. There was a tremendous amount of supplies that were donated from both bank employees and the community. The supplies will be used for children who have no supplies for the school year as well as to re-stock the classrooms. There was also a cash donation of $23.00 that was turned into a Cashier’s Check and made payable to Summit Elementary School.

The Menomonee Falls branch also collected school supplies and donated them to the School District of Menomonee Falls for students who have the most need.
