craftspeople from Wisconsin and across the Midwest will display and sell their wares at the Wade House’s 55th Annual Arts and Crafts Fair.

More than 60 of the regions’ best artists and craftsmen will exhibit at this lively family event on the tree-lined grounds of the Wade House Historic Site. The exhibitors employ a variety of mediums including painting, sculpture, ceramics, mixed media, printmaking, jewelry, fiber art, glass, wood, leather, metal and photography.

Show participants include: Victor Arango, an artist who creates macrame art and jewelry; Terri Einer, who specializes in acrylic and oil pastel art; Debbie Wavrunek, an artist who creates cement leaves and other garden decor; Anastasia Vega, an artist who repurposes vintage glass and doilies to create indoor and outdoor decor; and Linda Kinjerski of Cedar Creek Treasures who creates shabby chic gifts and plaques.

This outdoor celebration of the arts also features good food with fare ranging from homemade ice cream to kettle corn to brats, burgers and gourmet fries. Rides on a reproduction stagecoach will also be offered at a modest fee. Proceeds from this event help support the educational, historic programming at the site.

The Arts and Crafts Fair will take place at the Wade House Historic Site in Greenbush, WI. Free parking is available off Center St. in Greenbush. Special admission of $5.00 per adult includes entrance to the Fair and entire site. Children ages 17 and under are FREE. Admission includes a horse-drawn vehicle ride from the historic area to the new Wade House Visitor Center and Wesley W. Jung Carriage Museum, a guided tour of the stately, 27-room stagecoach hotel, a trip to the Herrling Sawmill to see and feel the rumble of an up-and-down, water-powered saw, a journey to the blacksmith’s shop as well as entrance to the Arts and Crafts Fair.
