Faith Technologies: Raises more than $6,500 for local food bank

MADISON BRANCH HOSTS 12TH ANNUAL JERRY AHRENHOLZ MEMORIAL GOLF OUTING

Madison, Wis. (July 7, 2015) – The Madison branch of Faith Technologies raised more than $6,500 for Second Harvest Foodbank of Southern Wisconsin during its Jerry Ahrenholz Memorial Golf Outing. The 12th annual customer golf outing on May 19 drew 121 golfers to The Oaks Golf Course in Cottage Grove, Wis.

Money raised at the annual event will allow Second Harvest Foodbank to provide more than 18,000 meals for the local families and individuals it serves. Faith Technologies golfers also collected and donated more than 1,100 pounds of nonperishable food items for theStoughton Food Pantry.

“For more than a decade, Faith Technologies has been continually impressed by the generosity shown by our customers, vendors, and employees who contribute to making this event a success and making a difference in our community,” said Aaron Bizub, Madison group manager. “The Jerry Ahrenholz Memorial Golf Outing is a tradition that speaks to our company’s values, and we’re proud to continue it.”

Since its inception in 2004, the Jerry Ahrenholz Memorial Golf Outing has raised $68,246 for Second Harvest Foodbank; the Stoughton Food Pantry was added as a beneficiary seven years ago and has since received more than 4,500 pounds of nonperishable food items from Faith Technologies.
