Prior to becoming an attorney, Cheslock worked at Michael Best as a patent engineer.
Kevin P. Rizzuto
Intellectual Property
Rizzuto focuses on intellectual property matters specifically assisting businesses obtain strategic patent protection for new technologies and navigating existing patents to avoid infringement risks.
He has extensive experience in patent drafting, patent prosecution, patentability analysis, patent invalidity analysis and product clearance analysis.
Jason T. Thompson
Transactional Group
Thompson’s practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions and general corporate matters.
Mr. Thompson assists his clients with negotiating and structuring various types of transactions and agreements including corporate reorganizations, buyout transactions and venture capital investment transactions.

Melissa M. Turczyn

In addition to the Transactional Practice Group, Turczyn is the Co-chair of the Venture Best™ Team.
She regularly represents early-stage and emerging growth companies in numerous industries. Turczyn assists clients with capitalization and financing strategies, review of customer and vendor contracts, preparation of employment and consultant documentation and review of equity and material transfer agreements.

Aaron K. Nodolf
Intellectual Property
Nodolf practices intellectual property law with an emphasis on acquisition and enforcement of U.S. and foreign patents specifically in mechanical and electro-mechanical technologies.
In addition to intellectual property litigation, Nodolf also has experience counseling clients with respect to preparing validity and infringement opinions and counseling clients in product development and strategic business decisions involving intellectual property.
