Event to be held near project site, in the Town of Beloit
Madison, Wis. – March 17, 2015 – Alliant Energy will be holding a community open house on Wednesday March 25 to share more information about its proposed Riverside Energy Center expansion. The event will be held at Boundaries Bar and Grill located at 3807 South Riverside Drive, in the Town of Beloit.
In November 2014, Alliant Energy announced that clean power was coming to Wisconsin in the form of a highly efficient natural gas fueled electric generating station. The proposed site is located on the existing Riverside Energy Center property located along W B-R Townline Road in the Town of Beloit. The project would replace several older generating units planned for retirement in the next few years.
The open house will include two sessions on Wednesday, March 25.
Afternoon session: 1 – 3 p.m.
Evening session: 5:30 – 7:30 p.m.

Alliant Energy representatives will be available to discuss the project and address questions. The open house will also feature informational displays; light refreshments will be served. The public is encouraged to attend on March 25 to get the latest details on the planned generating station.
