Road America Karting Club: Launches the 2015 season with its annual swap meet and information meeting

ELKHART LAKE – On March 14, the Road America Karting Club (RAKC) will host its first event for 2015 in the form of an annual swap meet at the Racers Hall in nearby Plymouth, Wis., (W4408 Cty Rd C – East of Hwy 57). This event is an excellent place for current karters to buy and sell items and chat with vendors in preparation for the season. RAKC staff will also be available to answer any questions about the club and the upcoming season. It’s an especially good time for those who are considering joining the sport to stop and chat with RAKC staff and members.

The engines fire on April 25, for a free explore karting event at the Road America Motorplex. The club will host a non-points race on May 2, before going full speed into its nine-race RAKC Weekend Series and 12-event Week Night Series featuring 4 cycle sprint karts, oval karts and kid karts. The first race of the popular Week Night Series is June 2, with the last race on August 18. One of the highlights of the RAKC Weekend Series is kart racing at the Road America Motorplex in conjunction with the Weathertec® Chicago Region SCCA June Sprints®, June 11-14.
