BMO Harris Bank: To sponsor FCI ‘Virtual Leadership’ series in 2015

Webinar series provides tools for nonprofits addressing persistent community challenges

Forward Community Investments (FCI) and BMO Harris Bank are once again partnering to provide a series of online learning opportunities for nonprofit leaders across Wisconsin. This year’s series will feature 10 webinars on a variety of topics aimed at helping nonprofits improve their effectiveness in the face of limited resources and growing challenges in their communities. 2015 marks the fourth year BMO Harris Bank has sponsored the webinar series.

“FCI’s mission is to support organizations and projects working to build equitable communities in Wisconsin,” said FCI President Salli Martyniak. “Historically, we’ve done that through financing. But in recent years, we’ve come to recognize the importance of helping nonprofits get more impact out of their limited resources by working more strategically and more collaboratively. That’s what these webinars are about: building adaptive thinking.”

“We’re excited to be sponsoring FCI’s webinar series once again this year,” said Doug Nelson, Regional President for BMO Harris Bank. “FCI’s understanding of best practices in the nonprofit realm is impressive, and they have a knack for streamlining strategic concepts into concrete steps that nearly any organization can benefit from.”

Support from BMO Harris Bank allows FCI to offer the webinar series at no cost to participants. For more information about the Virtual Leadership Series, visit the FCI website at www.forwardci.org.
