Bay Area Humane Society Gets New Board President

Green Bay, WI – The Bay Area Humane Society is announcing that there will be a new president of the board starting in 2015. Dr. Pat Warpinski of the Animal House will be the president starting January 1st, 2015, replacing Pete Paulsen.

Dr. Pat earned his DVM from UW- Madison School of Veterinary Medicine in 1991 and has been a practicing veterinarian for 24 years. In 2004 he launched the Animal House and is sole owner. The Animal House has five veterinarians and provides veterinary care, boarding, daycare and training.

Dr. Pat believes every pet owner should have access to basic care and to that end he has instituted and supported several programs to reach pet owners in need across the community. He has been active with the Bay Area Humane Society since 1996 and served on the BAHS board for 9 years. In January of this year, he began his tenure as President. He is also the recipient of the BAHS Assisi Award.

In 2012, Dr. Pat was named Business Person of the Year, by the Green Bay Chamber of Commerce. The same year, The Animal House also received the Ethics in Business Award. Since the Green Bay Reader’s Choice contest inception, The Animal House has been named Best Of The Bay “Winner”-seven years in a row.

Currently, Dr. Pat is one of 10 veterinarians across the world chosen to participate in the pilot Nobivac Global Health Veterinary Exchange and will be traveling to Beijing in February.
