Giftos is a member of the Intellectual Property Practice Group in the firm’s Madison office. She represents clients in a wide array of industries with complex intellectual property matters and focuses on helping companies build value in and protect their most important assets, including their brands, content, data, creative works and inventions. In addition to her IP work, she closely tracks developing legal issues relating to branding, social media, privacy and technology and is, therefore, readily able to advise her clients on potential risks and best practices in these areas. She is also skilled at preparing and negotiating complex technology transactions, such as open source software and software-as-a-service license agreements. Giftos received her J.D., with honors, from the University of Florida Levin College of Law, and her B.S. from Florida State University. She is the Chair of the Board of Directors, a founding site liaison and active coach for Girls on the Run of Dane County, a positive youth development program which encourages young girls to become self-confident, involved, and healthy leaders.

“Mike and Mindi have extensive experience in the areas of law our clients need,” said WHD’s Chief Executive Paul Eberle. “Their election to shareholder formally recognizes their contributions and dedication to client success.”
